General procedures
Have containers pulled out before 7:00 a.m. on collection day. If containers are not out, collection will not take place. The solid waste division will not move containers out of or put the containers back in to the garbage room without prior approval.
Defective containers
If you have containers that are broken or hard to move, call 206-716-1310, leaving a detailed message that explains the problem.
Recycling
If your recycling was not collected and is not contaminated, call 206-716-1310, after 5:00 p.m. Leave a message with the address and state that the recycling was not collected and is not contaminated. Do this as soon as possible.
